Our Commitment
Silverbridge Careers is committed to ensuring our platform is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that access to career opportunities should not be limited by the tools a person uses to navigate the web.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a checkbox. We integrate accessibility review into our design and engineering processes, and we welcome feedback from users who encounter barriers.
Conformance Standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including those who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, or other assistive technologies.
Technical Specifications
Our platform is built with semantic HTML5, ARIA landmark roles, and focus management that supports keyboard navigation throughout. Interactive components — including modals, accordions, and dropdowns — follow the ARIA Authoring Practices Guide patterns.
We support the following assistive technologies: NVDA and JAWS (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS and iOS), TalkBack (Android), and Dragon NaturallySpeaking for voice input. We test against the latest stable versions of each.
Known Limitations
While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, some areas of the platform are still being improved. Known limitations include: certain data visualisation components in our employer dashboard that do not yet have full text alternatives, and some older PDF documents in our resource library that have not been fully tagged.
We are actively working to resolve these gaps. If you encounter a barrier not listed here, please report it to us — your feedback directly informs our roadmap.
